FDA Considers Limits on Osteoporosis Drugs Due to Fracture Risk

An advisory committee of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last week weighed the risks and benefits of bisphosphonate drugs such as alendronate (Fosamax) for managing osteoporosis.
